Christmas...Better late than never

Every year the children act out the Christmas story.  I thought I would post a few pictures of them in their costumes.

You might not be able to tell that Lexie is an angel.  Perhaps a modernized angel with that bow.

Elijah was supposed to be a sheep but refused to wear any costume.  Later he played the part of Jesus as a young boy.  He thought he was supposed to be in the manger.
He wouldn't get out of the manger.  He definitely liked that part.
David was Joseph this year with his cousin Katherine as Mary
 What a cute Joseph.

Sadie has moved past the costume age but we had to post a picture of her.  Unfortunately Emily and Anna were with their mom this year.  We missed them.
So the other day I was busy getting dinner ready.  David called from downstairs for me to come.  I told him just a minute.  I continued on with dinner and when I called everyone David didn't come.  One of the girls went to retrieve him and this is what we found.

David's 4th Birthday

I regret that I have neglected my blog for so long.  I thought I would post a few events that have occurred since I last wrote.

In January David turned 4.  Can I just say I love this age.  David gives me hugs and kisses daily and tells me he loves me.   I wish I could keep him at this age.  On his birthday we had a great day at Discovery Gateway.   He had fun with his brother and cousins there.  I am so glad he FINALLY had his birthday.  It was a long year waiting for it to come as everyone else in the family celebrated their birthdays.
